1. Foreword
The LDCSD-250 Cutter Suction Dredger of steel construction, the non self-propelled, dismountable type, is able to berth and dredge at any waters both in the coastal area and inland rivers.
The dredger can be used to excavate and transport cohesive sediment below the class III specified in code for dredging engineering construction technique issued by Ministry of Water Resources(MWR) of P.R.China.
In the course of technical designing, we have considered special requirements for local tropical climate conditions such as meteorological and waters distributing state etc.
Its hull consists of a main pontoon and two side pontoons which is to be easy to dismantle or mount for transportation by road, rail or water, and is to be easy to reassemble at project site.The engines and dredge pump are located in the center pontoon,the 2 side pontoons serve as fuel bunkers,ballast tanks and store.
The dredger is powered by diesel engine. The dredge pump is driven by the engine through the gearbox. On the gearbox, two hydraulic pumps are equipped, to supply power for all the hydraulic equipments such as cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams etc.
The spacious control cabin is ergonomically designed with 360 degree view. All the operation buttons, switches, indicators, gauges are equipped on the control desk. only two operators can control all the dredger in the operation room.
The dredger is painted by 4 coats of marine paint to protect from the corrosion. The ZINC anode can be used to give better anti-corrosion function.
